Online Counseling Support for Adolescents & Teens Who Feel Too Much, Say Too Little, or Don’t Know Where to Start
Adolescence is a time of transformation—emotionally, socially, and neurologically. Add to that the pressures of school, identity development, and growing up in today’s world, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
I provide virtual therapy for kids / teens that is culturally responsive, identity affirming, trauma-informed, and tailored to your child’s unique lived experience. Every teen deserves to be heard in a space that values their voice and honors their story.
Common Challenges I Treat:
• Symptoms of Anxiety or Overthinking
• Emotional sensitivity or reactivity
• Stress from school or perfectionism
• Peer issues or feeling left out
• Symptoms of Depression
• Identity exploration
• Family conflict or feeling misunderstood
• Grief, trauma, or family transitions
• Low self-esteem or negative self-talk
• Divorce or blended family adjustment
Online therapy can offer teens a sense of privacy and ease—especially when they can connect from their own space. I use interactive, engaging and flexible tools that meet kids and teens where they are, including:
• Virtual whiteboards, drawing, & art
• Visual games and screen shares
• Sensory / grounding exercises
• EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT
• Calm, no-pressure conversation
I believe in working alongside families to support their child's individual needs. I offer space for your teen to process privately, while also keeping caregivers in the loop with strategies, themes, and suggestions to continue the support at home.
